We are currently looking for a rich experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our international team.

The customer is a leading provider of next-generation manufacturing and supply chain management solutions. They serve global manufacturing companies in six verticals: automotive supply, life sciences, consumer products, food and beverage, high tech, and industrial products. Cloud-based ERP solutions help manufacturers stay efficient and withstand disruption.
About Our Project:
The main objective of the project is to shape up an approach and create a plan to migrate the present architecture to a new architecture that can not only retain the existing feature set, but also employ modern concepts (e.g., cloud services, microservices, etc.) in order to achieve better modularity, scalability, and other relevant industry-common benefits. The modernization will happen alongside codebase migration from Progress-based solutions to Java-based ones.

Requirements:
- More than 4 years of experience in DevOps
- Experience in an engineering role supporting AWS
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud-native services (AWS EBS — Elastic Block Store; AWS Application Load Balancer; AWS ECR — Elastic Container Registry
- AWS Developer Tool — CodePipeline; AWS CloudWatch — Log Groups& Log Insights; AWS Route53; AWS Certificate Manager)
- Deep knowledge of AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and EKS Storage
- Experience in migrating data centers workloads
- Experience creating or managing a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Docker containers
- Experience working with Git
- Knowledge of RDS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python or Java scripting
- Knowledge of Kafka and Cassandra is a big plus
English level: Upper-Intermediate.
Responsibilities:
- Develop best practices for code
- Develop and apply DevOps practices for engineers’ team
- Decide which direction the team should take in development and which DevOps practices to follow
- Develop common approaches for service development
- Work with a team
- Review pull requests
- Present results on demo
- Provide technical leadership on the project
- Be strategic and tactical
