About the role:

Orca Security’s Cloud Detection and Response engineering team is growing and looking for talented Software Engineers to join our global team. Together we will build the next generation of Security products as part of Orca’s one-stop-shop for cloud security solutions. On a typical day, you’ll:

• Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and unit-tested appropriately
• Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best solution
• Implement new requirements within our Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles
• Test software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
• Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications and anticipates potential errors/issues
• Provides input into the architecture and design of the product; collaborating with the team in solving problems the right way
• Develop expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP products and technologies

About you:

• 5+ years of production experience in Python
• Knowledge/Experience designing and implementing data-intensive systems
• Experienced in working with micro-service architecture & cloud-native services
• Solid understanding of software design principles, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, algorithms, etc.
• Experience with K8s — scaling, and management of containerized apps
• Experience with data streaming/data-driven applications
• Experience with async applications
• Self-motivated and passionate attitude
• Team player mindset and a great sense of humor

Role & Responsibilities

• Participate In the ideation process for our creatives in sync with other producers and designers. 
• Run creative tests across biggest UA networks in sync with our UA team
• Help with visualizing creative test results for designers
• Conduct mobile game market research and trends, benchmark competitors 
• Help with ideas for creatives based on the collected data
• Partner effectively with our Creative and User Acquisition teams to help drive millions of users DAILY all around the world

Requirements:

• You have a creative mindset
• You are passionate about social networks and you regularly use TikTok and Instagram.
• You feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a creative problem solver and multi-tasker!
• You have the ability to change directions quickly based on team needs.
• You have a passion for new knowledge, highly motivated to learn.
• You speak and write English (B1+)

Advantages:

• Would be a big advantage experience with the main advertising networks: Facebook, Google Ads, Tik Tok, etc. 
• Basic understanding of how Photoshop/After Effect/etc work

• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript;
• Experience with React, Redux, Saga, Styled Components, Jest;
• Self-motivated and passionate attitude;
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively;
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities;
• Team player mindset and a great sense of humor;
• English level — Intermediate+.

Advantage:

• Work experience in product companies;
• Experience in managing small teams/desire to develop yourself in this direction;
